The look-through design allows you to retain full use of the stock iron sighs. Incorporated is the ability to disassemble and clean the entire action, all without having to remove the mount. The base of the shell deflector mounts to the slide block on the rear site with two set screws and allows the deflector to move out of the way. The aluminum base is black anodized and the deflector plate is made from steel and black oxide coated for durability.
